Twitter / Facebook

Your video provides rich content that is perfect for posting on Facebook and Twitter. We recommend scheduling posts on both platforms at regular intervals to promote and share the video.

When it comes to posting about the video on your social media, you could do one of the following:

  • Include a Vimeo or YouTube link of your video (allowing the video to be embedded on your social media page once posted).
  • Add a link to a page where the video is embedded on your website.
  • Directly upload the video to Facebook and Twitter.

We have also generated thumbnails (which can be found on your individual page through our Videos section) for you to use with your social media posts as a way to attract your followers attention when they’re scrolling through their social feed.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn provides a very targeted way of communicating with people within the air cargo industry and so we recommend taking full advantage of the contacts you have on your LinkedIn profiles to promote your video.

On LinkedIn there is a featured called ‘Write an article’ which allows you to create a blog post and submit it to your profile for your connections to read. The feature itself gives you the option of adding text, links, photos and most importantly, embedding a video.

You can also use the thumbnails we’ve generated for your video in these posts as a way to attract some attention towards your post. Once published your connections are then able to read your article post, as well as post comments and share it on their profile also. We’d recommend asking some of the employee’s within your company to share the original post or producing one of their own as a way to cover a larger.

Latest News / Blog Posts

If you have a news section or a blog on your website make sure that you take full advantage of creating a post for your website visitors to see. With this fresh content, you are in a great position to generate traffic through to your website.

This is one of the most effective ways to boost the chance of your videos gaining views as visitors are highly likely to check out these sections of your website to find out more about your company and what you’ve been up to. You are also able to then use Google Analytics to track how many visitors you’ve received and how long they’ve stayed on the page to engage with your content.

Blog posts and news entries are also shareable content that you and your visitors will be able to post about on key social media sites. If your website allows the function of adding social share buttons to posts make sure you have them turned on as it reminds visitors that they can share your content further.

Newsletter / Emails

As the digital world moves forward people have started to see a real benefit from including videos in their emails and newsletters. Forbes has stated that “Adding a video to marketing emails can boost click-through rates by 200-300%“.

If your company puts out a regular newsletter we would suggest including a thumbnail image with an attached link to watch the video. You can also send the video by email to contacts that will be interested in the subject or who are able to promote the video further.

Press Release

It may also be beneficial for you to send a press release to promote your videos online.
